What canvas used to connect the media to build your business and brand?
If your engagement with media boats, boat used to float their ideas?
Stories help build brands. Especially in a world of low confidence, so that its Articles must be authentic and endearing.
Most brands are not based on a unique story. They use several depending on the audience they trying to achieve.
This is the third (and final), seven of what I call the first 21 season, even the most cynical Will Love:
15. The pure archetype
"An archetype is a generic, idealized model of a person, object or concept that similar instances are derived, copied, or for emulation. In psychology, an archetype is a model of a person's personality or behavior. "(Source Wikipedia)
A selection of archetypes common in Wikipedia are:
"Superman (the Almighty), for example, The Joker, Iago, Superman himself
The hero, eg Siegfried, Batman, Beowulf, Doc Savage, Luke Skywalker and Neo from the Matrix.
The Great Mother, either good or terrible, such as Devi (Mahadevi) the Great Goddess, Glinda the Good Witch of the North
Wise, for example, Merlin, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Gandalf, Albus Dumbledore, Mazer Rackham and Mr. Miyagi
The Trickster or Mono, for example, Reynard, Robin Goodfellow, Br'er Rabbit, Bart Simpson, Bugs Bunny, Ferris Bueller, and Loki
The puer aeternus (Latin "eternal child), for example, Peter Pan."
The media love to join the archetypes of people and present them to the audience somehow corresponds to these archetypes.
From Terminator to Conan the Barbarian champion bodybuilder Arnold Schwarzenegger has been Always the warrior archetype.
16. Revenge
Revenge is a strong motivation. The media love the inherent conflict in the history of revenge. Sir Richard Branson of Virgin fame is my favorite case study of revenge.
He faced the music companies, airlines, banks and now retired and the oil companies and won.
17. You need to show some thing
Show that you are in a conflict is another incentive. Once again, the media love the conflicts inherent in this view of history. Anita Roddick of Body Shop fame is my favorite case study.
18. All risks
Risking all full of conflict, the future rest on a knife. The player in each of us uses the human aspect of the media and the public.
Everyone can relate to the risks. Rupert Murdoch, Donald Trump are two withdrawals are, in terms of risking everything for a goal and win.
19. Pawn Game
Tom Cruise has really been pushed or lost its appeal Movie Star, having fired by Paramount movie studio? Who knows? It's just a pawn in the game and the film making its future is controlled by others.
The media love it when someone's destiny is controlled by others. Bali Nine drug smugglers are another example of Australia.
20. Outrageous behavior
Paris Hilton is the benchmark in this category.
21. Tumbling From The Top
Martha Stewart, Michael Jackson, and Enron are American soloists. Henry Kay, AWB Limited, HIH and One Tel are classic case studies in Australia on how the media loves this.
Note: Negative and is best avoided.
